Here at San Rocco we have eclectic tastes – if there’s something you’d like to do that we haven’t thought of, let us know and we’ll see what we can help you to arrange.
You may want to host your own cooking course, or a course that combines cooking with visiting historic centres and trekking, or cycling.
You may want to run a literary week for budding writers, or a meditation retreat, or stop in for a weekend with a group of fellow classic car enthusiasts. You may just want to do your best to try all the local wines.
Whatever your passion, if we haven’t tried it, come and show us why we should. We all like to be inspired.
Yoga Courses at San Rocco
San Rocco has a number of friends who are trained Yoga instructors in various disciplines.
The villa has a number of spaces, both inside and in the gardens, which are conducive to practice, as well as to relaxation.
If you would like to arrange or be part of a course, please let us know and we will endeavour to arrange a schedule that suits you.
Cooking Courses at San Rocco
We are most fortunate at San Rocco to count among our good friends Nicola Michelini, one of the region’s finest professional chefs.
Nicola trained at the prestigious Istituto “Martini” in nearby Barga. He has run an award-winning restaurant and now freelances around his home area of Bagni di Lucca.
As well as his formal training, he is a repository of local knowledge for handed-down family recipes and the best spots to find all sorts of jealously guarded ingredients as they grow...
